Install Via ZXPinstaller

  • ZXP installer Will Automatically install the extension

Step 1 : Download ZXPInstaller

ZXPInstaller is a simple, drag-and-drop utility for installing .zxp files into Adobe applications.

Download The Version For Operating System (Mac or Windows).

Step 2 : Install the Extension

  1. Open ZXPInstaller.
  2. Drag and drop your .zxp file into the ZXPInstaller window.
  3. The installer will manage the installation process.

Step 3: Restart Adobe Application

Close and reopen any Adobe application where you want the extension to appear. 

Check for the Extension: 
Open the application, Go to Window > Extensions 
menu to see if your extension is listed.

If this does not work for you you can install manually.

(Manual Installation)-WINDOWS

  • If the ZXP installer fails to install LUTs Manager , You can install it manually by following the instructions below (Windows)

Step 1 : Extract the Zip File 
​"LUTs-Manager.zip"

Extract the contents of your .zip file to a folder.

* Right Click on "LUTs-Manager.zip" file > "Extract Here".

Step 2 : Locate the Extensions Folder
​​Paste the Extracted Folder

Copy the folder you extracted from the .zip file into the extensions directory.


Step 3 :  Registry Verification

Open Command Prompt (type CMD in the search bar)  
Paste the following lines and press Enter

REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.11 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.10 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.9 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.8 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.7 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.6 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.5 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.4 /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f

Step 4: Restart Adobe Application

Close and reopen any Adobe application where you want the extension to appear. 

Check for the Extension: 
Open the application, Go to Window > Extensions 
menu to see if your extension is listed.

(Manual Installation)-MAC OS

  • If the ZXP installer fails to install LUTs Manager , You can install it manually by following the instructions below (Mac Os)

Step 1 : Extract the Zip File 
​"LUTs-Manager.zip"

Use a tool like Unarchiver to extract the .zip file.

Step 2 : Locate the Extensions Folder
​​Paste the Extracted Folder

Move the extracted folder to the extensions directory.

Go to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/

* Access the Library Folder: In Finder's menu bar at the top, click on Go. Hold down the Option (⌥) key. You will see the hidden Library option appear in the dropdown menu. Click on Library.

Step 3 :  Registry Verification

Open Terminal from Spotlight ("Command (⌘) + Space", type "Terminal"and press Enter).
Paste the following lines and press Enter

defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.10 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.9 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.8 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.7 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.6 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.6.1 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.5 PlayerDebugMode 1
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.4 PlayerDebugMode 1

Step 4: Restart Adobe Application

Close and reopen any Adobe application where you want the extension to appear. 

Check for the Extension: 
Open the application, Go to Window > Extensions 
menu to see if your extension is listed.

Apply Lut (Copy direct path)

  • Copy The path to the LUT
  • AE Apply LUT via Lumetri Color
  • PR Apply LUT via Lumetri Color
  • Open your Editing Software and apply from the browse option

Copy the path to the LUT file so you can paste it into your software's Input LUT or Browse LUT section.

AE Apply LUT via Lumetri Color

  • Add the "Lumetri Color" Effect on your Layer.
  • In the Lumetri FX Controls , locate the
    Creative > Look > expand dropdown and click "Browse".
  • Paste the copied LUT file path (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) in the file name and click open.

Mac Users: Use Cmd +Shift + G in the file dialog to open the 'Go to the folder:' input box where you can paste the path by Right Click on the input Field And Select Paste And Then Click Open.

PR Apply LUT via Lumetri Color

  • Add the "Lumetri Color" Effect on your Clip.
  • In the Lumetri FX Controls , locate the
    Creative > Look > expand dropdown and click "Browse".
  • Paste the copied LUT file path (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) in the file name and click open.

FAQ

 Why can't I see the "LUTs Manager" in my Window > Extensions menu in Adobe software?

  • Answer: Ensure that the LUTs Manager extension is installed correctly. Follow these steps:
    • Close your Adobe application.
    • Manually install the extension using an installer like ZXPInstaller or follow the manual installation steps provided in the documentation.
    • Reopen your Adobe application and check the Window > Extensions menu again.


Why are the LUTs not updating in the LUTs Manager?

  • Answer: If your LUTs are not appearing updated, try the following methods:
    • Click the "Refresh" icon within the LUTs Manager to reload the LUTs.
    • If the issue persists, completely close and restart the application to ensure all updates are applied.
